who we are? what we do?
LA CAROTA (carrot in latin) is a local restaurant in Sants quarter, Barcelona.

What we do in our kitchen is a result of what we are and what we have experienced before. Our recipes come from here and there and are made with fresh and local products.
​
Our room is something else, it makes you feel at home at the same time you imagine being in a surrealist dream. It is part of the "experience".
We are already 6 years old, and as we have done since the fist day, we keep on searching the way to offer you our best. We keep on creating, inspiring, surprising.
LA CAROTA'S TEAM
It all began in a twist of fate. Two people meet in the perfect moment, in the perfect place to chase a common carrot: opening a restaurant.

For Sebastián (maitre) and Cristina (chef), LA CAROTA is the result of a dream that starts with a solid restoration career and becomes true opening doors in 2017.
​
But LA CAROTA's project doesn't come to an end, this is a life time project, a professional goal that constantly moves on. It has been hours of dedication and so much help from clients, neighbours, friends, that have spread the good feeling and made the dream come true.
​
The most important is that nothing would have been possible without being side by side with the neighbourhood, even cheering it up to keep on chasing a carrot that already belongs to all.
